Ellisic Trail   Ellisic Trail is located quite a long drive from Chambersburg but trails like these are great. There's so much to do here at Ellisic Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Burnt Cabins Grist Mill Ye Olde Mill Campground is a wonderful place for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Licking Creek. If you're dropping by Ellisic Trail from Burnt Cabins, you won't be the only one, and Ellisic Trail is good enough     to spend more than a day at, Mountain Lake Cabins is a good local campground. A tremendous place to pop by near Ellisic Trail is Allens Valley; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Big Cove Creek. All through the warmest time of the year at Ellisic Trail highs are usually in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's while Ellisic Trail night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. From a rainfall point of view Ellisic Trail is a pretty typical place.
