Ewing Trail

  We all need to get out in nature once in a while and if you happen to be in Potter County of Pennsylvania, Ewing Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Pretty far from Lock Haven you find Ewing Trail but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Lyman Run State Park is a pleasant local campground, and Jacob Hollow is positively a perfect place to have a look at. Sunken Branch is close to Ewing Trail
    and is always a diversion to visit, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Galeton. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Cross Fork, and at Lyman Run Dam near Ewing Trail there are some out
of the ordinary things to see. Ewing Trail is a good site to visit for more than one day, Ox Yoke Inn is a good site to camp nearby. A visit to Ole Bull State Park when you're here at Ewing Trail is never a bad idea; you can run the rapids of Young Womans Creek. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. From a precipitation point of view Ewing Trail is a relatively typical spot. The wettest month of the year is usually  
June, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the warm months here at Ewing Trail, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
