You'll have to go far from St. Marys to get to Hodag Trail but it is a great escape from the city. A great place to explore close to Hodag Trail is Bell Draft; don't forget to take a good little spree to Little Bear Run. Camping is available at Parker Dam State Park; it's a pleasant idea to stop at Wainwright Run. A good place
    to camp here at Hodag Trail is Sizerville State Park, and Hodag Trail is not far at all from Benezett. There's a forest here at Hodag Trail called Elk State Forest, and a perfect place like Sizerville State Park is too good to leave
out. So many fun things to do at Hodag Trail, so little time. Mosquito Creek is a splendid whitewater spot near Hodag Trail. Hodag Trail is a pretty wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall. The wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Hodag Trail all through the summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the  
50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Hodag Trail overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
