Horn Trail

  Gotta get out of the city man, and Horn Trail in Franklin County, Pennsylvania is a good choice. It's a long drive from Chambersburg to Horn Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. There's so much to do here at Horn Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Bridge Meadow Family Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Paddling on Licking Creek is so much fun, and Bear Valley is another pleasant spot to take
    a look at close by. Glide down the rapids of Big Cove Creek in a kayak, and spots like McCasslin Valley are great to check out. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Horn Trail has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Lake
Cabins. The smiling folks of Fannettsburg like to hang out close by. Summertime highs at Horn Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Horn Trail through the wintertime mostly dip into the 10's. The amount of rainfall that falls at Horn Trail is close to the national average. June is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
