Horseshoe Trail   Horseshoe Trail is located quite a long drive from Harrisburg-Carlisle but It's always fun to hike here. Horseshoe Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hershey Highmeadow Campground is a great local campground. If you come at the right time of year, Susquehanna River offers some great whitewater. Camping at Hershey Conewago Campground is always a perfect experience, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Conewago Creek - East. There are plenty of     folks from Grantville here at Horseshoe Trail; Manada Gap is also a good place to explore. Why not have a look at close by Rattling Run if you're here at Horseshoe Trail. Horseshoe Trail is near Gifford Pinchot State Park which is a scenic place. Through the summer at Horseshoe Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows through the winter for Horseshoe Trail tend to be in the 10's. Horseshoe Trail is a good location of typical rain.
