Imes Trail

It's a long drive from Winchester to Imes Trail but it is a good trail. A visit to Pennsylvania is not complete without some hiking. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Town Creek, and don't leave without visiting Cacapon State Park. Get dripping wet paddling on Fifteen Mile Creek, and Little Orleans Campground is a great campground nearby. Here at Imes Trail there are plenty of folks from Artemas, and White Oak Hollow is another wonderful place to explore nearby.
Devils Alley Campground is a glorious local campground. Imes Trail is a good place of normal rainfall. Most of the rain falls through July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the
summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Imes Trail; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Imes Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
