King Trail

If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking. You'll have to go far from Chambersburg to get to King Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Sand Spring is an inspiring spot to stop by during your stay; get yourself into a kayak and hit Licking Creek. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Richmond Spring, and why not camp at Mountain Lake Cabins since you're here at King Trail. At King Trail you
always meet someone from Mc Connellsburg, and if you came for an overnight stay Saunderosa Park is a good place to camp. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Big Cove Creek. From a precipitation point of view King Trail is
a pretty typical location. During June this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. At King Trail throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while King Trail overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
