Lukes Trail   It's a long drive from Sunbury to Lukes Trail but it is one of many great trails in this area. Pennsylvania has so much to offer nature lovers. If you're here at Lukes Trail, you could pop by Shale Run, and you can stay the night at Hershey Highmeadow Campground. A quick spree to Doc Smith Run right next door to Lukes Trail is a delightful idea. There's so much to do here at Lukes Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Lickdale Campground is a great     place for that. The wonderful folks of Wiconisco like to hang out close by, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Conewago Creek - East. From a rain point of view Lukes Trail is a reasonably typical site. June is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Throughout the months of summer at Lukes Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
