Pretty far from Cumberland you find Old Mail Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. If you're dropping by Old Mail Trail from Hyndman, you won't be the only one, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend
    Evitts Creek. Grim Run is a good local stream, and you can stay the night at Rocky Gap State Park. Take a side visit to Little Wills Creek, and Old Mail Trail is a great place to visit for more than one day, Hidden Springs Campground
is a great place to camp nearby. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Wills Creek, and a glorious site is Reservoir Hollow.
