Pinnacle Trail

  Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Pinnacle Trail in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. If you're dropping by Pinnacle Trail from Ransom, you won't be the only one, and don't leave without going to Lackawanna State Park. There's so much to do here at Pinnacle Trail that you need to camp here for a while, How Kola Camp is a fine spot for that. Paddling on Lackawanna River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to explore
    everything Pinnacle Trail has to offer, you can camp at Highland Camp Ground. Glide down the rapids of Spring Brook in a kayak. The high level of rainfall makes Pinnacle Trail a relatively wet place. The month with most of the rain
is June, and February is when it's the driest. During the days of summer at Pinnacle Trail temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Pinnacle Trail plunge into the 10's.
