Risinger Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hinckston Run. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Roger Mountain Trail. Roger Mountain Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Yellow Creek Camp Ground is a perfect local campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Roger Mountain Trail a wet spot. Most of the rain falls through   July, and February is the month with the least moisture. At Roger Mountain Trail all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Roger Mountain Trail.
