Short Trail   You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Short Trail in Centre County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. A quick spree to North Run in close proximity to Short Trail is a splendid idea, and Short Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Snow Shoe Park is a wonderful local campground. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go     to Kephart Dam, and naturally Benner Run flows through this area. Black Moshannon Creek is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity of Short Trail, and camping at Hemlock Acres Campground is always a glorious experience. You'll meet a lot of people from Sandy Ridge here, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moshannon River. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do right next door to Short Trail. Short Trail generally gets much rain. Of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Short Trail. During the moonlight   hours it's typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Short Trail.
