Slide Hollow Trail   Slide Hollow Trail is a trail quite far from DuBois but it is a good trail. Slide Hollow Trail is a good site to visit for more than one day, Snow Shoe Park is a good site to camp nearby. You can run the rapids of Moshannon River right next door to Slide Hollow Trail, and if you're visiting from Sandy Ridge, you won't be the only one. There's whitewater on Black Moshannon Creek for all you adrenaline people, also Dayton Dam is worth a visit since you're here.     Camp Blue Diamond is a nice local campground. Slide Hollow Trail gets a large amount of water. Of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. For the duration of the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Slide Hollow Trail while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
