Smith Trail

  If you are in Pennsylvania during hiking season you have to go hiking. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Smith Trail in Pike County, Pennsylvania is such a great place. Delaware National Scenic River is a wonderful national park, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Tafton for sure. Very good water scenery is available at Pecks Pond Dam in the vicinity of Smith Trail. Smith Trail is perfect enough
    to spend more than a day at, Lake Adventure Community Assoc is a perfect local campground. Going to Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area near Smith Trail is a great thing to do, and why not take a little journey to Tarkill
Creek while you're here. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Bush Kill Creek; if you came to camp Camp Watonka is a glorious site to do that. And that's not all you can do here at Smith Trail. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling close to Smith Trail is Shohola Creek. From a rain point of view Smith Trail is a reasonably normal place. The month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount  
of precipitation. Summertime at Smith Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Smith Trail.
