Summit Trail

  Finally, hiking time is here again, and Summit Trail in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania is the outdoors at it's best. Summit Trail is a long drive away from Huntingdon but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Black Moshannon Creek, and Warrior Ridge Campground is a good campground nearby. You can run the rapids of Great Trough Creek in the neighborhood of Summit Trail; if you came for an overnight
    stay Camp Blue Diamond is a magnificent place to camp. If you're stopping by Summit Trail from Petersburg, you won't be the only one. From a rain point of view Summit Trail is a reasonably common place. June is when you get the most
rain here, and the driest of the months is January. Summertime highs at Summit Trail regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Summit Trail tend to be in the 10's.
