You'll meet a lot of people from Clearville here, and Town Creek     is a great whitewater spot nearby. next to Tarkiln Trail you'll hit upon a wooded area called Buchanan State Forest, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flintstone Creek. There's so much to do here at Tarkiln Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Springs Campground is a tremendous place for that. The yearly rain here at Tarkiln Trail is about average. The wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is October. All through the warmest time of the year here at Tarkiln Trail, high temperatures usually get into the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.   High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Tarkiln Trail.
