Turkey Trail   A visit to Pennsylvania is not complete without some hiking. If you come at the right time of year, Black Moshannon Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Sandy Ridge here, and there are some good whitewater spots on Moshannon River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Turkey Trail has to offer, you can camp at Camp Blue Diamond. Dayton Dam is worth going to if you're here. There's so much     to do here at Turkey Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Snow Shoe Park is a magnificent place for that. The high level of rain makes Turkey Trail a rather wet location. June is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Turkey Trail throughout the summertime months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
