Valley Rim Trail   Valley Rim Trail is a trail quite far from Reading but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Pennsylvania is a great place for hikers. Don't leave Valley Rim Trail without visiting Tuscarora State Park, and a great site to camp here at Valley Rim Trail is Blue Rocks Family Campground. Nesquehoning Creek is a good whitewater spot right next door to Valley Rim Trail; why not camp at Robin Hill Camping Resort if you're here at Valley Rim Trail. A fine     site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Valley Rim Trail is Lizard Creek; lots of folks from Kempton come here. Very good water scenery is available at Hamburg Dam near Valley Rim Trail. Throughout the long summer days at Valley Rim Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Valley Rim Trail tend to be in the 10's. Valley Rim Trail is a wet spot that gets much rainfall.
