White Deer Trail

  Pennsylvania has so much to offer nature lovers. White Deer Trail is located quite a long drive from East Stroudsburg but It's always fun to hike here. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Watonka is a good place to camp. Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is a good local destination here at White Deer Trail. Places like Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are glorious to take a look at, and camping is available at Wilsonville Recreation
    Area. A pleasant spree to Gates Meadow is a good way to spend an afternoon. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Shohola Creek. You're sure to encounter some friendly people from Tafton here,
and Decker Swamp Dam has fine water scenery. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! White Deer Trail is unbeatable! There's whitewater on Lackawaxen River for all you adrenaline people. All through the summertime months highs here at White Deer Trail get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at White Deer Trail sink into the 10's.  
All the water falling down from the sky makes White Deer Trail a wet place. Throughout May this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
