Ross Trail   We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Ross Trail in Providence County, Rhode Island is such a great place. Hiking in Rhode Island is such a great thing to do. Ross Trail is a trail quite far from Willimantic but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you ought to schedule some time for it if you're here. A spree to Quaddick     State Park when you're here at Ross Trail is never a bad idea, and some nearby water includes Iron Mine Brook. Spend the day on the beach at YWCA Beach while you're here at Ross Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ross Trail has to offer, you can camp at Echo Lake Campground. There's some interesting stuff to see at Wilson Reservoir Dam near Ross Trail. Lots of people from Pascoag come to Ross Trail, and time spent at Flynns Beach is always delightful. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Whitewater paddling is good on Quinebaug River, and close by you'll stumble   on a wooded neighborhood called Buck Hill. There's so much to do here at Ross Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a tremendous place for that. Dry Arm Brook is near Ross Trail and is always a delight to pop by.
