Walkabout Trail
| | This trail is also called Richardson Trail. It is very pretty. Says anonymous
Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Walkabout Trail in Providence County, Rhode Island is a great place to go. Hiking here in Rhode Island is a must. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Quinebaug River. Beaches are tremendous; and YWCA Beach in close proximity to Walkabout Trail is no |
exception, and Walkabout Trail is a good location to visit for more than one day, George Washington State Area is a good location to camp nearby. This is such a great ski area. Visiting Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National
| Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. One of the best things about Walkabout Trail is its proximity to Flynns Beach. Quaddick State Park is both good and beautiful, and it's near Walkabout Trail; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Pascoag for sure. There are some fine whitewater spots on Clear and Branch, and do stop at Bowdish Reservoir Dam if you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool | |
