Bear Wallow Trail

  While visiting this area in Tennessee it's a good idea to go hiking too. It's a long drive from Bristol to Bear Wallow Trail but It's always fun to hike here. Bear Wallow Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Shore Campgrounds is a magnificent local campground. Sycamore Shoals State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Bear Wallow Trail, and a tremendous location close by is Pine Mountain Gap. You'll meet a lot of folks from Shady
    Valley here, and Holston River is a great whitewater spot nearby. A glorious place to camp here at Bear Wallow Trail is Cocran's Lakeview Camp Ground It's always splendid to go to Low Gap Spring. Harpers Creek flows through this region,
and there's some interesting stuff to make out at Camp Tom Howard Dam in the vicinity of Bear Wallow Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Holston River - South Fork. Bee Suck Branch is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. Bear Wallow Trail gets a typical amount of annual precipitation. Of all the months in a year  
July is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Summertime at Bear Wallow Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bear Wallow Trail temperatures descend to the 20's.
