Flatwood Trail

  You'll have to go far from Bristol to get to Flatwood Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Hiking here in Tennessee is a must. If you came for an overnight stay Cocran's Lakeview Camp Ground is a splendid location to camp. There are plenty of folks from Shady Valley here at Flatwood Trail. Sycamore Shoals State Park is a wonderful spot to have a look at on a delightful day; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Holston River.
    Camping is available at McPherson Show Arena; a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Watauga. Poe Branch is a pleasant local stream. The amount of rain that falls at Flatwood Trail is close to the national average. Of all the
months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Flatwood Trail. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Flatwood Trail.
