Be careful coming to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. If you come at the right time of year, Soak Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. The smiling people of Spring City like to hang out close by, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Little Piney Creek. Fooshee Peninsula is in the neighborhood and always great to have a look at; Arrowhead Resort is a great local campground. Wann Branch is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. All through the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Fooshee Pass Trail, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course,   usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Fooshee Pass Trail are in the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Fooshee Pass Trail a wet site. March is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest.
