Hardy Trail

Hiking here in Tennessee is a must. Hardy Trail is located quite a long drive from Chattanooga but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Take a little spree to Chattanooga Creek if you're here at Hardy Trail, and a spree to nearby Point Park is very relaxing. Looking for some flowing water? Try Lookout Creek; a pleasant trip to Tannery Flats is a good way to spend an afternoon. If you're here, you might as well go to Ross
Second Island Shoals, and a glorious location like Cloudland Canyon State Park is too fine to leave out. Stay the night at Look Out Mountain KOA Kampground, and get covered with water paddling on Middle Creek. You just can't picture
the amount of outdoors exciting things the area close to Hardy Trail has to offer. Don't leave Hardy Trail without first paying a visit to Rock Spring, and whitewater paddling is nice on Rock Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hardy Trail has to offer, you can camp at Raccoon Mountain Caverns and Campground. A visit to Gum Spring will fill your soul with fine feelings, and there are plenty of people from Lookout Mountain here. During
the warm months at Hardy Trail highs are frequently in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Hardy Trail temperatures plunge to the 20's.
