Island Trail

  Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Island Trail in Pickett County, Tennessee is just the place. Island Trail is not very near Somerset at all but hiking it is great fun any time. While visiting this area in Tennessee it's a good idea to go hiking too.
In the Cumberland Plateau Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cumberland River - Little South Fork, and Pickett State Park is a
    pleasant location to go. So many entertaining things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just phenomenal. If you come at the right time of year, North White Oak Creek offers some good whitewater. Camping at Big South Fork - True
West is always a tremendous experience; unsurprisingly Natural Bridge Creek flows through this neighborhood. A good location to camp here at Island Trail is Saddle Valley Campground; there's some flowing water close by, Watson Branch is a stream you can stop at while you're here. During the summertime months at Island Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night  
lows in the 20's for Island Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Island Trail a wet place. Most of the rain falls during December, and October is the month with the least moisture.
