Lake Bluff Trail

  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Lake Bluff Trail in Pickett County, Tennessee is such a great place. There are many hiking trails in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Tennessee. Lake Bluff Trail is a long drive away from Somerset but it's one of those places where hiking is great.
Cumberland River - Little South Fork is
    a good whitewater spot next to Lake Bluff Trail; swing by Watson Branch it's a nice site to check out. Having a nice time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is uncomplicated. Lake Bluff Trail is in the neighborhood of Pickett State
Park which is a picturesque place. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on North White Oak Creek. Camping is available at Big South Fork - True West, and hey, Natural Bridge Creek is a magnificent local stream. Why not camp at Saddle Valley Campground if you're here at Lake Bluff Trail. Lake Bluff Trail frequently gets a good deal of rainfall. Most of the rain falls during December while October is the month with the least  
amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Bluff Trail, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while Lake Bluff Trail night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
