Lowry Falls Trail   Lowry Falls Trail is an easy to moderate trail which features several small waterfalls and some nice rock and cliff formations. The trail is well maintained and marked. Most of the trail is even but there are a few small inclines which could be considered as moderate although they are pretty easy even for a beginner hiker like myself. About 0.25 miles into the trail there is rock bluff that runs beside the trail. Walk under the bluff to reach the best waterfall     along the trail. Says Cherokee National Forest Guy Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Polk County of Tennessee, Lowry Falls Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Lowry Falls Trail is a long drive away from Athens but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Hiking in Tennessee is such a great thing to do. Looking for some flowing water? Try Lowry Branch, and if you come at the right time of year, Gee Creek offers some good whitewater. If you want a good   time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Great Smoky Mountains. Getting to Coffee Branch from Lowry Falls Trail is uncomplicated, and a fine place close by is Hiwassee Gap. You're sure to come across some cheerful people from Reliance here.
