Morrill Trail   Morrill Trail is located quite a long drive from Bristol but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Morrill Trail in Sullivan County, Tennessee is just the place. Low Gap is a tremendous place to look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Holston River. A nice site to camp here at Morrill Trail is Low Gap Campground 1; don't forget to take a nice little spree to Morrell Creek. Holston High Point is not far from     Morrill Trail at all, and why not check out close by Little Branch while you're here at Morrill Trail. A magnificent place like Sycamore Shoals State Park right next door to Morrill Trail is too perfect to leave out, and you'll probably meet some people from Bristol here. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Morrill Trail. Morrill Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Low Gap Campground 2 is a tremendous local campground. There are some good whitewater spots on Watauga. During the long summer days at Morrill Trail highs are regularly in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime   lows throughout the wintertime for Morrill Trail tend to be in the 20's. Morrill Trail is a good spot of common rain. The month with most of the rain is July; October on the other hand is the driest.
