Ridge Trail

A long drive separates Somerset from Ridge Trail, but It's always fun to hike here. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Tennessee. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Pickett County of Tennessee, Ridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
There are many hiking trails in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Pickett State
Park is a tremendous site, and stopping by Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. There
are some glorious whitewater spots on North White Oak Creek, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Watson Branch. If you came for an overnight stay Saddle Valley Campground is a good place to camp. There's whitewater on Cumberland River - Little South Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Why not camp at Big South Fork - True West while you're here at Ridge Trail, and the smiling people of Allardt like to hang out close by. You just ought to adore
Ridge Trail. Take a little journey to Natural Bridge Creek if you're here at Ridge Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Ridge Trail a quite wet spot. Of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
