South Fork Citico Trail   I am planning on hiking and backpacking on this trail in May and would like to know if anyone has any other experiences or recommendations on loops. Says Bart Harriss With so many outdoors activities available in Tennessee you'll never get bored. South Fork Citico Trail is not very near Knoxville at all but trails like these are great. Gotta get out of the city man, and South Fork Citico Trail in Monroe County, Tennessee is such a great place.     Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Great Smoky Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. South Fork Citico Trail is a great place to visit for more than one day, Doublecamp Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Beech Gap is in close proximity to South Fork Citico Trail and is a wonderful spot; you can run the rapids of Citico Creek. Stratton Meadows is a stunning location any time of year; you can stay the night at McNabb Creek - Cherokee National Forest. Stratton Meadows is a pleasant place to stretch your legs a bit, and there are plenty of folks from Vonore here. Santeetlah River is a splendid whitewater spot in close proximity to South Fork Citico   Trail; Fort Loudoun State Park is a beautiful spot any time of year. This place, South Fork Citico Trail, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Some of the water nearby flows, like Falls Branch. Throughout the days of summer highs here at South Fork Citico Trail reach the 80's.
