Sugar Mountain Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, McNabb Creek - Cherokee National Forest is a magnificent local campground. If you're here, you might as well pop by Grassy Gap, and a perfect site to camp here at Sugar Mountain Trail is Hanging Dog RV Park. The good folks of Tellico Plains like to hang out nearby, and naturally Bryson Branch flows through this area. You can run the rapids of Bald River in the neighborhood of Sugar Mountain Trail, and a quick visit to Birch Branch is beyond doubt   a great idea. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Sugar Mountain Trail. At Sugar Mountain Trail during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and night lows at Sugar Mountain Trail during the wintertime frequently plunge into the 20's.
