Put some time aside to spend at Sawmill Springs while you're here at Lava Point Trail. Some nearby water includes Blue Creek; Lava Point is rather close. Grotto Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Lava Point Trail is a place with many visitors from Virgin. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Lava Point Trail. A spree to Lower Kolob Plateau rejuvenates the spirit, and Oak Spring Valley is a perfect place to go to. Not much precipitation falls here at Lava Point Trail. August is the wettest month with   most rain, and June is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Lava Point Trail all through the summertime months are in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lava Point Trail throughout the winter usually fall into the 10's.
