Rim Trail   Rim Trail is not very near Cedar City at all but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. A spree to Bryce Canyon National Park is worthwhile, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sevier River. Inspiration Point is not far from Rim Trail at all; Sunset Campground is a great campground nearby. South Hall is a tremendous location to pop by near Rim Trail, and Bryce Canyon Pines is a good local campground.     Kodachrome Basin State Park is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit, and you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful people from Bryce here. What a place this is for outdoors people. Around Rim Trail you don’t get a lot of rain. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January. Summer at Rim Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
