The Race Track   You'll have to go far from Montrose to get to The Race Track but hiking it is great fun any time. Utah is a great place for hikers. A trip to Edge Of The Cedars State Park when you're here at The Race Track is never a bad idea. There's so much to do here at The Race Track that you need to camp here for a while, Dalton Spring Campground is a good place for that. Everybody loves Robertson Pasture, and Spring Lake Dam is wonderful. If you came to camp Newspaper Rock     Campground is a wonderful site to do that; Arches National Park is a very splendid site to stop at. Manti-La Sal National Forest - La Sal Division is a splendid forest area near The Race Track. The Race Track is pretty dry generally. Throughout the month of October you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. For the duration of the long summer days here at The Race Track, high temperatures typically get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
