Bluff Trail   In the Blue Ridge Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. While visiting this area in Virginia it's a good idea to go hiking too. Can’t wait to get out in nature, if you happen to be in Rappahannock County of Virginia, Bluff Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Bluff Trail is a long drive away from Winchester but it sure is a nice trail. A wonderful place to camp here at Bluff     Trail is Shenandoah River State Park; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Happy Creek. This place, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Bluff Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Gooney Creek Campgrounds is a good local campground. A spree to Shenandoah National Park is worthwhile, and Thoroughfare Gap is another great place to check out close by. Lots of people from Washington come to Bluff Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rush River. A tremendous place like Shenandoah River Andy Guest State Park close to Bluff Trail is too good to leave out; if you're here at Bluff Trail it's a fine idea to stop at Hogwallow Flat. If you like the outdoors,   you'll have a thing about Bluff Trail. From a precipitation point of view Bluff Trail is a pretty normal place. July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Throughout the months of summer at Bluff Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 60's.
