  Canít wait to get out in nature, Cliffside Trail in Grayson County, Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. Cliffside Trail is not very near Boone at all but trails like these are great. Looking for some flowing water? Try Lewis Fork, and you can run the rapids of Green Cove Creek. Camping at Wilderness Trail is always a great experience; lots of people from Whitetop come here. Cliffside Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hurricane Campground
    is a tremendous local campground. There's whitewater on Big Wilson Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Places like Grayson Highlands State Park are fine to take a look at, and hey, Grindstone Branch is a wonderful local stream.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. The warmest time of the year at Cliffside Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Cliffside Trail dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Much rain falls at Cliffside Trail. July is when you get the most rain here, and November on the other hand is the driest.
