Coon Trail   Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Caroline County of Virginia, Coon Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. An interesting thing to stop by near Coon Trail is Travis Lower Dam. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Rappahannock Academy here, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Aquia Creek. Prince William Forest     Park is a nice local destination here at Coon Trail, and visiting Purse State Park is a good thing to do. If you came for an overnight stay Campground 721 is a magnificent site to camp. On a gorgeous day you can have a look at Clifton Beach in the neighborhood of Coon Trail; a perfect site for whitewater paddling is Rappahannock River. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly bountiful here at Coon Trail. Hidden Acres Family Campground is a great campground nearby. Coon Trail gets a common amount of annual rain. For the period of the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. At Coon Trail during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and   through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 40's while Coon Trail nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
