High Meadows Trail   High Meadows Trail is located quite a long drive from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria but It's always fun to hike here. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Prince William County of Virginia, High Meadows Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Quantico Creek - South Branch; Leesylvania State Park is a good location to go. If you don't mind     getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quantico Creek. High Meadows Trail is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Turkey Run Ridge Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. Looking for a nice visit? Clifton Beach is a beach right next door to High Meadows Trail that you can stop by, and Camp Five Dam is a lovely site, without doubt worth a visit.
