Homestead Trail

  Homestead Trail is not very near Roanoke at all but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. A good spot like Douthat State Park in close proximity to Homestead Trail is too tremendous to leave out, and there are some good whitewater spots on Wilson Creek. Why not camp at Hidden Valley Campground if you're here at Homestead Trail, and if you're going to from Bacova, you won't be the only one. Virginia Power is a splendid local campground, and there's
    whitewater on Jackson River for all you adrenaline kick people. Dunns Gap is near Homestead Trail and is undeniably a magnificent place to visit. Homestead Trail is a wet place that gets much rainfall. July is the wettest month with
most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Homestead Trail commonly tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Homestead Trail all through the wintertime commonly sink into the 10's.
