Going to Shenandoah River Andy Guest State Park next to Knob Mountain Trail is a good thing to do, and if you haven’t been to Shenandoah National Park, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. Camp OutBack is a tremendous local campground, and you could always look at Dripping Springs Hollow. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling near Knob Mountain Trail is Passage Creek. High temperatures at Knob Mountain Trail through the summer months are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and   night lows during the wintertime for Knob Mountain Trail tend to be in the 20's. Knob Mountain Trail gets a normal amount of annual precipitation. Through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February.
