Lodge Trail

Virginia has lots of outdoors activities. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lodge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Bolar Mountain Campground. Going to Watoga State Park right next door to Lodge Trail is a great thing to do; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Anthony Creek. During your tour to Lodge Trail you'll meet some folks from Hot Springs for sure. There are some glorious whitewater spots
on Jackson River, and Lake Sherwood Dam is beautiful. Lodge Trail is a good site to visit for more than one day, Lake Sherwood Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Since you're here at Lodge Trail why not explore Big Lick Draft.
Through the warmest time of the year at Lodge Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lodge Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. Lots of rainfall falls at Lodge Trail. Most of the rain falls during July, and the driest month is February.
