A good site in close proximity to Lookout Mountain Trail is Bear Draft, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Little     River - North R. Tributary. Why not go to nearby Little River if you're here at Lookout Mountain Trail. Why not go to Staunton Dam while you're here, and you can run the rapids of North River. A good location to camp here at Lookout Mountain Trail is North River Campground, and you're sure to bump into some wonderful folks from Mount Solon here.
