Mill Mountain Trail

  A long drive separates Winchester from Mill Mountain Trail, but it sure is a nice trail. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Mill Mountain Trail in Shenandoah County, Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. A quick visit to Mill Creek close to Mill Mountain Trail is a delightful idea, and if you're visiting from Wardensville, you won't be the only one. Lost River State Park is a fine site to have a look
    at on a delightful day, and Sandstone Spring is an inspiring place to check out while you're here. A great site to camp here at Mill Mountain Trail is Trout Pond Campground, and a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Trout Run.
Camping is available at Big Stony Family Campgrounds, and Waites Run is a fine whitewater spot nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mill Mountain Trail. Since you're here at Mill Mountain Trail why not explore Trout Run Valley, and obviously Deep Gutter Run flows through this neighborhood. An average amount of precipitation falls at Mill Mountain Trail. July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is  
February. Summertime highs at Mill Mountain Trail regularly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mill Mountain Trail.
