Rich Hole is a tremendous place to look at, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cowpasture River. North Branch Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Buckhorn Store And Campground is a good local campground. While you're here at North Branch Trail you will meet lots of folks from nearby Millboro. Going to Douthat State Park next to North Branch Trail is a glorious thing to do. At North Branch Trail throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down   to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to North Branch Trail. North Branch Trail sees pretty high levels of rain. Most of the rain falls throughout July; the driest month is December.
