Stony Creek Trail

  As long as you like the outdoors you will like Virginia. Pretty far from Winchester you find Stony Creek Trail but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. While you're here at Stony Creek Trail you will meet lots of folks from close by Wardensville. Camping is available at Trout Pond Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Waites Run. A great site to camp here at Stony Creek Trail is Big Stony
    Family Campgrounds, and why not a little side journey to Mill Creek. Do pay a visit to Shenandoah National Park while you're here at Stony Creek Trail. Lost River State Park is a great location to stretch your legs a bit; do stop
at Spruce Run if you're here at Stony Creek Trail. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Stony Creek Trail, too good to be true. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Trout Run, and Sandstone Spring is always fun to check out. Stony Creek Trail gets a normal amount of yearly rain. Of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Stony Creek Trail  
temperatures are frequently in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stony Creek Trail.
