Wildcat Ridge Trail

  A visit to Virginia is not complete without some hiking. It's a long drive from Harrisonburg to Wildcat Ridge Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. In the Blue Ridge Mountains there are many great hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, if you happen to be in Augusta County of Virginia, Wildcat Ridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
    Take a side visit to Meadow Run; why not camp at Misty Mountain Camp Resort since you're here at Wildcat Ridge Trail. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A pleasant place to have a look at near
Wildcat Ridge Trail is Riprap Hollow; a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is South River. Wildcat Ridge Trail is a place with many visitors from Crimora; get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Moormans River. Waynesboro North 340 Campground is a fine local campground. From a rainfall point of view Wildcat Ridge Trail is a reasonably common location. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand  
is the driest. All through the summer at Wildcat Ridge Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Wildcat Ridge Trail tend to be in the 10's.
