There's a forest here at Big Deer Mountain Trail called Groton State Forest, and why not a little side journey to Sucker Brook. If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Big Deer Mountain Trail. The wonderful folks of Groton like to hang out nearby,   and Peacham Pond Dam is a pretty site. This site, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Wells River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Big Deer Mountain Trail. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
