Mad Tom Trail

  Mad Tom Trail is located quite a long drive from Bennington but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. A visit to Vermont is not complete without some hiking. There are many hiking trails in the Green Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Mad Tom Trail in Bennington County, Vermont is a perfect place for getting out.
If you
    came to camp Campground A is a glorious location to do that, and Mad Tom Trail is not far at all from East Dorset. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Glide down the rapids of
Big Branch in a kayak, and Emerald Lake State Park is worth visiting. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Battenkill River. There's so much to do here at Mad Tom Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Maryville Campground and Gift Shop is a wonderful spot for that. During the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Mad Tom Trail. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down  
to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mad Tom Trail are in the 0's. Mad Tom Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall. Most of the rain falls during August, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
