Staples Trail   Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Staples Trail in Bennington County, Vermont is a great place to go. A long drive separates Rutland from Staples Trail, but it is a good trail. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Green Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. A fine spot like Swale Meadow here at Staples Trail is too tremendous to miss. Three Shanties Brook is a magnificent site to explore, and you can stay the night at Campground A. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Staples Trail. At Staples Trail throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down   to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; night lows at Staples Trail all through the winter typically sink into the 0's. Lots of precipitation falls at Staples Trail. August is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
